At Erma L Williams Learning Center, we take the health and safety of our students and staff seriously. Over the course of the pandemic, we have worked tirelessly to apply multiple strategies with fidelity to keep our school healthy and running smoothly.

Although we serve students in an age group that is not yet eligible for vaccination. We emphasize COVID-19 prevention strategies to protect our students and adults at the ELWLC.

All students, parents, teachers, workers, and visitors are required to wear a mask.

We send home those with COVID-like symptoms and require a doctor's note or negative COVID test prior to returning to school.

When individuals do test positive we contact trace and inform the families of students who have been exposed so that they can take the appropriate precautions.

ELW is committed to ensuring that critical supplies such as hand soap, hand sanitizer, disinfecting spray, paper towels, masks, touch-free thermometers and disposable gloves are stocked.

All indoor spaces are cleaned and sanitized daily. Deep cleaning is triggered in the event that a staff member or student tests positive for COVID-19.
